Fall Fashion Lookbook

It's fall, y'all, and you can leaf  it to me to serve up some fresh fall outfit ideas! Oh my gourd I'm excited for pumpkin spice and everything nice.

Ok. I had a bit of fun with that one πŸ˜‰.

This post is designed to kickstart your fall fashion ideas and give you one week's worth of autumn inspired looks. Now, of course these items are not exclusively for fall, but I chose colors, fabrics, and patterns that somehow remind me of this time of year. Temperatures are cooling, leaves are changing, and all things cozy are a must. Let's get started.

MONDAY

Start off the week with a simple sweater. Any color will do, but I went with this cranberry high-neck sweater from Target. I paired it with blue skinny jeans and a bronzed makeup look. This outfit will certainly beat the Monday blues.

TUESDAY

We're going for layers today. I paired a plain white tee with light blue, high-waisted jeans, tucking the shirt at the waist. Then I added a brown knit sweater on top. I feel like this added some warmth and interest to the outfit. For the finishing touches, I put on a gold necklace that almost looks like two in one and popped on my brown, pointed-toe flats.
WEDNESDAY

When I think autumn, I think orange, and today we're channeling just that. I paired this orange floral top with a jean jacket and leggings and then let the shoes do the talking. These high-heeled boots have velvet going up the calf and are so beautiful. They are actually a hand-me-down from my mom (thanks, mom!). I put on some gold studded earrings to complete the look.
THURSDAY

We're going for a classic look today. I recently thrifted a grey cropped sweater from a nearby secondhand shop, and I am so excited about the look and fit of it! It has a beautiful layer of lace over the front and two small slits on each hip. I paired it with black leggings and my favorite booties. The booties are from Target and are a practical height. I don't feel like I'm walking in heels because they are so comfortable.
FRIDAY

Woo-hoo! It's Friday, so let's bring out a pair of fun pants. I'm a fan of patterned leggings, and here are two of my favorites. I make sure to have a solid color top like a fitted black shirt so the pants don't get overwhelming. Sneakers do the trick to finish off this playful look.
SATURDAY

Let's take it easy on Saturday with a simple tee and jegging combo. The shirt is off-white with a slight gathering at the waist, and the pants are a lovely maroon color that look like jeans but feel like leggings. Maroon is another color that gives me fall vibes. The cream and gold necklace I chose added some more interest to the outfit while keeping within the color scheme. I like how it is still noticeable but doesn't distract from the outfit. I also put on some classic pearl earrings to add an elegant touch.
SUNDAY

We're going out with a bang! Dark yellow and blue tones also remind me of fall, and this outfit combines the two. Here is a blue dress with a scalloped halter top that hits just above the knee. On top is a yellow cardigan (with pockets!). I added a pair of strappy navy heels to bump up the fancy-factor. Ain't it cute?

I hope you've fallen for some of these fall fashion ideas! πŸ‚πŸ

Crumbl Cookie Review!

Welcome to the Crumbl Rumble . 16 cookies are facing off in a head to head battle to determine the ultimate cookie champion. Let's find out what flavor can really pack a punch! Here. We. Go. Pink Velvet vs. Double Chocolate Chunk Pink Velvet is a cake batter flavored cookie with vanilla cream cheese frosting and a garnish of pink cookie crumbs. Double Chocolate Chunk features both semisweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chunks with a sprinkle of sea salt. Both of these cookies were lovely, taking me back to the sweet moment of eating them. That's what I love about food; it is more than something to eat, it's a memory, too.  Pink Velvet was the first Crumbl cookie I tried about two years ago, and I was so excited to see what all the hype was about. It sure delivered! I love the ever-so-slight crunch that leads into each soft, pillowy bite. The cream cheese frosting was delicious, and there is something about eating a pink cookie that sparks serotonin. πŸ’—  I enjoyed Dou...

Fun with Fragrance!

Everyone likes smelling good, and there are so many wonderful scents out there that can create an aroma that is uniquely your own. From floral and citrusy to woodsy and warm, fragrance is limitless.  There are a few steps in my daily routine that help me feel fresh and delight my senses: body wash, lotion, deodorant, and perfume. I have a lot of fun trying new products and scents, but I have compiled a list of my personal favorites. It's important to note, though, that everyone gravitates towards different types and amounts of scents. For example, fragrance in makeup products seems unnecessary to me, while fragrance in skincare seems like a must. And eucalyptus is one of my least favorite scents, while for others it's their favorite. Whatever floats your boat, as they say. Let's get to the pretty smells 😊 Body Wash I really enjoy the  Love Beauty and Planet Body Washes ! I've tried the Shea Butter & Sandalwood variety and am currently using the Coconut Water & ...

Preparing for a Princess Event!

I'm lucky enough to have a job making magic. ✨ Princess performing is a culmination of many things I love: dress up, acting, and making people happy. I've attended events and birthday parties for children for over two years as your favorite Disney princesses, and I absolutely love it! Bringing these characters to life and giving the gift of magic to families is so special. It's an art that truly lights me up. There is quite the process of preparing for each event, though, and I want to guide you along the journey. CHARACTER PREPARATIONS First of all, you must have a solid foundation of knowledge about your character. You should be ready to answer any question... and kids ask  a lot  of questions. This preparation includes re-watching your princess's movie and/or tv series and preparing dialogue that aligns with what your character would say. For example, if I were preparing to be Ariel, I would keep phrases like "have a fin-tastic day," "I hope you're...
